rsvsr Why Pokemon TCG Pocket Pulsing Aura Really Matters
24.04.2026 11:51
Pokémon TCG Pocket is heading into its 1.5-year celebration with a proper shake-up, and the April 27 update looks like more than a routine card drop. Pulsing Aura lands at 6:00 p.m. PDT and brings a heavy Fighting-type focus, which should be a relief if you've been seeing the same matchups over and over. A lot of players will go straight to the new attackers, but this set also gives more reasons to revisit deck building, especially with [Link nur für registrierte Nutzer sichtbar] becoming a bigger part of how people answer stadiums, boosts, and tempo swings mid-game.

Mega Evolution steps into the format
The headline addition is easy to spot: Mega Evolution cards are finally here. Mega Lucario ex looks like the one most players will test first. With 190 HP, it sticks around, and its damage scales in a way that feels practical instead of flashy for the sake of it. Two Energy gets you 90 damage, then a third bumps it to 140. That's real pressure. Mega Sceptile ex gives Grass decks another route that isn't so one-note, while Vaporeon ex brings disruption by forcing a switch from the opposing Active spot. That kind of effect can ruin a setup turn, and people always underestimate how annoying that is until it happens to them. Pulsing Aura also reaches beyond old favourites, adding Kubfu, both Urshifu forms, and Bewear, so there's a nice spread of options instead of one obvious chase line.

Trainer cards that actually change games
What makes this expansion feel smarter is the support around those big ex bodies. Korrina looks ready to become a staple in Fighting lists, mainly because a 30-damage bonus into ex targets can flip knockouts in a hurry. Arena of Antiquity pushes things even further with a clean 20-damage boost for Fighting Pokémon, which sounds simple, but simple wins games. Then there's Field Blower, and honestly, it's about time. Stadium wars have needed a cleaner answer for a while, and being able to remove a troublesome location without jumping through hoops should make matches feel less locked in. You can already picture players tweaking damage maths and trimming awkward tech cards because these new Trainers do the job better.

Better rewards and a reason to trade again
Collectors aren't being left out either. Gold Frames might end up being one of the most talked-about changes after launch, just because so many people have piles of duplicates doing nothing. If you've got 10 copies of the same card, the game unlocks a gold frame automatically, and yes, it applies to cards you already own. That retroactive part matters. It means some players will log in and instantly find a chunk of their collection upgraded. Being able to trade those gold-framed cards should make Community Week in early May much busier than usual, especially with exclusive accessories on the table. On top of that, the old Dex Missions are being phased out for event-based rewards, including a Fire-type Elite Deck built around Mega Charizard Y ex and a solo event featuring Zygarde ex. For players who like planning ahead, that's a much clearer incentive loop, and if you're the kind who also keeps an eye on places like [Link nur für registrierte Nutzer sichtbar] for game-related items and account support, this update feels like the sort that'll keep the whole community active for a while.
